I began video editing in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, and taught myself how to use Adobe After Effects. Learning the ins and outs of the program was a big challenge, but it brought me so much fulfillment. I applied these skills to create short video edits of my favorite characters, artists, and actors, capturing their story arc, a fashion look, or a set of visuals for an album or show.

Editing has become a way of connecting with others as I began sharing my creations on social media. I’ve made some of my closest friends through sharing this passion, and also have reached millions with my account. In addition to the technical and artistic aspects of editing, I loved exploring how the social media algorithm functions, and what it takes for a video to gain traction.
