Growing up watching my mom paint, and receiving her encouragement, has made painting a safe space for me. Due to how painting has always brought me joy and comfort, those same feelings are emulated in my pieces. I try to capture everyday moments and beautiful serene landscapes, both urban and rural.

I began taking formal drawing and painting classes in middle school, and continued my education at LaGuardia High School through foundational courses, ceramics, printmaking, and advanced painting. The technical skills I acquired through these classes allow me to fully express my vision. Ever since then, I’ve gravitated towards realism.

As I grew as a painter, I’ve explored many different mediums including acrylic, oil, and watercolor. My favorite has quickly become watercolor. I love the nostalgic and dreamy look of the colors, and translucent quality of the paint. I also enjoy layering in watercolor and how I can achieve intricate details.
